I am a California native who has been living in Brazil on and off since 2022. Born in San Diego and raised in Los Angeles, I have spent most of my career in the Brazilian Specialty Coffee industry and am an associate for Aquarela Coffee in Los Angeles, CA. My work mostly focuses on new farm relationships, quality control and sustainable practices.

More recently, I have started working in farm and wildlife ecology, bringing me to fascinating micro-regions and biomes in Brazil.

I am certified in the Specialty Coffee Association's Sustainability Program and I also have a certification in Rice University's Ecology program.

As a writer, I have mostly written small vignettes and lectures on coffee and ecology. Currently, I am working on a fiction thriller set in Brazil's Pantanal region.

Oh, and I love interacting, reading and writing about different snake species.
